Alice Hur is a practitioner of a street dance style called waacking, an evolution of the art form “punking", which was created out of underground Los Angeles clubs by queer BIPOC men during the 1970's. For over a decade, Alice has been performing, competing, and teaching within this art form. Her accomplishments include winning multiple Bay Area waacking titles and placing in all-styles battles in San Diego, Seattle, Chicago, Sacramento, and Toronto. This class will is open to all levels of dancers.
