Massive Monkees: Breaking Legacy
Inspired and taught by Seattle's breaking pioneers, DVS and BOSS crews, Massive Monkees became one of the most decorated crews in the world. Their signature routines and original style, built on breaking foundations, have led them to victories at local, national, and international competitions. Soon after forming the crew, they won Bboy Summit 1999, launching the crew into a winning streak in the early 2000s, which culminated in their first world championship in 2004 at the Wembley Arena in London, UK. Almost a decade later, in 2012, en route to winning their second world championship at R16 in Seoul, Korea, their battle against the Korean crew Jinjo became the most-streamed breaking video of all time, with nearly 100 million views on YouTube. The crew's newest generation of members now carries on the torch in battling and winning competitions, ensuring the continuation of Massive Monkees' legacy in the breaking scene.
